Designed by award-winning New York architect Lee Skolnick, Seabird has high ceilings, structural wooden beams, Haitian and Anguillian art on the walls, and a working garden of herbs and fruit trees in the grounds. Indoor rooms open onto outdoor ones as a matter of design. Four ensuite bedrooms across two wings give nine people room to share the house without living on top of each other.

Outside, a curved infinity pool sits on a wide terrace with loungers, outdoor dining, and views across the salt pond toward St. Martin. Private patios and covered verandas run throughout the property.

Two minutes away on foot is Rendezvous Bay. Wide, calm, and rarely crowded, it is one of the Caribbean's great beaches: long white sand, clear water, and the kind of unhurried pace that is increasingly hard to find.
